Hot damn!  LANifesto #4 may have been over several days ago, but it was such a good LAN that it's taken me a good week to recover!  Can you say record attendance?!  19 gamers made the trek all across Alabama to take part in 10 hours worth of frags with Team Fortress 2, Battlefield 2 and Unreal Tournament 2004.  Tack on another 2 hours for Battlefield's horrendus patch process and you have yourself a LAN party!

Amazingly, not a single power outage happened throughout the entire LAN!  Nope, not one, even after we increased our max attendance due to the hard demand for more seats.  Had everyone showed and we hit 21 gamers, I'm fairly certain we'd still hold out just fine.  Thanks to everyone who came out to make this event possible, and double thanks to everyone who donated so we can keep hosting these awesome events.

I'd also like to give a very special thanks to our good friends at CPU Magazine who've helped sponsor and advertise LANifesto since its inception, and to our newfound friends at HarperCollins who delivered a truckload of books that cater to our interests with things that explode.  All of this is, of course, part of our five year plan to keep gamers literate.  Now it's just up to you, comrade, to do your part.
